THE LORD REPAYS

Ruth 2:1-12


Ruth 2:12 says: May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

We were created to do good things as stated in Ephesians 2:10. And upon doing so, God will reward us:
1. Reward of Provision – Ruth 2:7 – God will supply your needs from day to day. Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

2. Reward of Favors – Ruth 2:8 – God always finds ways to make life easier for you. Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

3. Reward of Protection – Ruth 2:9 – nobody will lay a hand on you as God watches you. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

As were created to do good things, these rewards we will reap upon doing so.
I always put my trust in the Lord because He always repay for everything I do for His glory.
