PRESENCE OF GOD
By Rev. Oliver Castro Mutuc
Luke 24:29 says: But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them.
Feeling the presence of the Lord is the most important thing that would happen to us every day.
1. Invite His presence – Luke 24:29 – as we invite Him our heart should always be ready so that He can move freely. Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
2. See His presence – Luke 24:31 – God will allow you to see manifestations of His presence. Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
3. Feel His presence –Luke 24:32 – God will let feel His presence whenever you call Him with a prepared heart. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
The most reassuring thing is that if we seek Him we will find Him and we will abide in Him.
The presence of God has always been my goal from day to day.
