CIRCUMCISED IN HEART

Jeremiah 9:23-26


Jeremiah 9:25 says: Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised. Spiritual circumcision involves a change of the heart. That is why a true circumcised in heart possess the following:

1. No longer proud – Jeremiah 9:23 – in all humility he glorifies God on whatever he do. Luke 14:11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

2. Understands and know the Lord – Jeremiah 9:24 – God is delighted when we know that He is exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. Galatians 6:14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

3. No more pretentions –Jeremiah 9:25-26 – he already possess and practices the qualities of a good soldier of God. Romans 2:25-26 For circumcision indeed is of value if you obey the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. So, if a man who is uncircumcised keeps the precepts of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision?
God looks at the heart that is why we must always possess a circumcised in heart so that God will delight in us.

I am already circumcised in heart and I must always put it in into practice.
