PARTAKERS OF THE INHERITANCE

Colossians 1:9-12


Colossians 1:12 says: giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. We were selected that is why we were called saints in the light. And to preserve that calling we have to pray for the following:

1. To be filled with the knowledge of His will –Colossians 1:9 – to pray for all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Hebrews 13:21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

2. To walk worthy of the Lord – Colossians 1:10 – this is by being fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

3. To be strengthened with all might – Colossians 1:11 - according to His glorious power. Ephesians 3:16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being.

With these, we will be qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
I am called, selected and a saint in the light that is why I have to pray for these things every time.
