MY HOPE IS IN YOU

Psalm 39:1-7


Psalm 39:7 says: And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.

Waiting upon the Lord is putting our trust in Him. In all our ways we should acknowledge Him and He direct our path. He is our only hope in all aspects:

1. Tongue – Psalm 39:1-2 – to talk about good things and to muzzle our mouth on none sense talks. Proverbs 21:23 Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.

2. Heart –Psalm 39:3 – to seek for God’s cleansing and purifying of our hearts. Psalm 24:4-5 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

3. Life –Psalm 39:4-5 – that we will live a life that pleasing to God. John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them,
saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

4. Feet Psalm 39:6 – by walking in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Proverbs 4:26-27 Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.

If we put our trust in the Lord, then we will never go wrong.
As God selected me to His ministries, I will make it a point to excel in them.
