RETURN AND SUBMIT TO GOD

Genesis 16:7-14


Genesis 16:9 says: The Angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hand.”

There are times when we feel the pain and the difficulties of life. When problems abounds us wherein we are about to succumb or to run away. But God is always there to rescue us. All we have to do is to return and submit to Him and we will reap the following:

1. You will prosper – Genesis 16:10 – you will reap exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude. Deuteronomy 30:9 The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the [a]fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers.

2. You will bear fruit – Genesis 16:11 – your labors will produce results. Genesis 17:20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I have blessed him and will make him fruitful and multiply him greatly. He shall father twelve princes, and I will make him into a great nation.

3. You will be guarded – Genesis 16:13 – He will be your guide, shield and fortress. Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

By submitting to God, all the blessings will come your way.
I love God and I will always return and submit to Him alone.
