INHERITING THE ETERNAL LIFE

Oliver Castro Mutuc Mark 10:17-31 Mark 10:17 says: Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” Eternal life is the greatest blessing we could ever receive from God. It is our salvation and heaven. After repentance and accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior, we should maintain the following: 1. Obey all His commands – Mark 10:19 – obey totally, partial obedience is disobedience. James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. 2. Take up the cross – Mark 10:21 – by not being selfish on all your material possession but give to the needy. Luke 12:33 Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. 3.
