God understands everything in us. He knows what we are going through in times of happiness and in times of sufferings as He provides the following: 1. Comfort –2 Corinthians 1:4 – in all our tribulations His loving arms are ready to hug us. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. 2. Consolation – 2 Corinthians 1:5 - the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation. Colossians 1:24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church. 3.
