Faith comes from hearing the word of God. And likewise, a good listener receives blessings as follows: 1. Abides among the wise –Proverbs 15:31 – when we heed corrections we will be rubbing elbows with learned people. Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. 2. Gets understanding – Proverbs 15:32 – we will learn our lessons but when we disregard discipline we despise ourselves. Proverbs 9:8-9 Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning. 3.
