TAKING HEED ACCORDING TO GOD’S WORD

Psalm 119:9-16, 97-105

Psalm 119:9 says: How can a young man cleanse his way?


By taking heed according to Your word. With our whole heart, we must meditate, contemplate and delight in the words of God and we will reap the following:

1. It makes us wiser than our enemies –Psalm 119:98-100 – it gives us deeper understanding on the will of God in our lives. Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
2. It restrained our feet from every evil way- Psalm 119:101 – that we might not sin against God. Psalm 119:104 Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

3. It lights our path – Psalm 119:105 – that we will never walk on darkness. Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life.
By taking heed according to God’s word, we will never go astray and will always be blessed.
God’s word are my bread and butter so I always meditate on it.
