RECEIVING THE VISION

Acts 9:1-22

Acts 9:3 says: As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. This is an important thing everyone must expect from the Lord, to receive a vision. This will lead us into a great perspective where God wants us to be.

1. Arise and go into the city – Acts 9:6 – God will wake you up from deep slumber to be changed by Him. Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

2. Arise and go to the street called Straight –Acts 9:11 – move at once to commission someone of utility to God. Numbers 27:23 Then he laid his hands on him and commissioned him, just as the Lord had spoken through Moses.

3. Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine – Acts 9:15 – act promptly for the Lord has already set the tone. 1 Timothy 4:14 Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which was bestowed on you through prophetic utterance with the laying on of hands by the presbytery.

God’s command are very important to us because we are entrusted by God for a specific purpose.

I will always heed the call of God no matter how hard the situation is.
