YOU SHALL GLORIFY ME

Psalms 50:8-15

Psalms 50:15 says: Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Everything in this world belongs to God. God is in control of all His creatures that is why when we are offering to the Lord it is our way of returning things that belongs to Him. To glorify God we should instead do the following:

1. Offer to God thanksgiving –Psalms 50:14 – we should be forever grateful unto the Lord for all the things He has done to us. Jeremiah 33:11- Give thanks to the LORD of hosts, for the LORD is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

2. Pay your vows to the Most High – Psalms 50:14 – you must fulfill all your promises to the Lord. Numbers 30:2 If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

3. Call upon the Lord always – Psalms 50:15 – pray unceasingly and regularly. 1 Chronicles 16:8 Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!

God is much glorified should we do all these instead of burnt offerings and sacrifices.
I make it a point that God is glorified by offering my body to be holy and acceptable to Him
