"TO LIVE IS CHRIST
By Rev. Oliver Castro Mutuc
Philippians 1:19-26
Philippians 1:21 says: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. To die is a blessing because you will no longer commit sin, no more pains and no more worries. But to live is Christ because God still wants us to be used mightily and effectively.
1. Christ will be exalted in our bodies – Philippians 1:19-20 – we were all delivered and be able to do the ministries entrusted upon us. Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
2. We continue to share the gospel – Philippians 1:25 – and to train and disciple as well. Romans 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
3. More people will worship God – Philippians 1:26
by means of our testimonies more souls will turn to Jesus. Psalm 66:4 All the earth will worship You, And will sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name

If we allow God to use us it will for our own good because to live is Christ.
I am ready to die but I will live because God will still use me.
