"I AM GOD, THERE IS NONE LIKE ME"

Text: Isaiah 46:3-13


Isaiah 46:9 says: Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. Our God is an incomparable God. To those who worship idols or images He call them rebels. Just think of what He is doing to us and refrain from being stubborn.

1. He sustains and rescue us – Isaiah 46:3-4 – from birth to our old age, He carries us. Colossians 1:13-14 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

2. He bring about what He has planned for us – Isaiah 46:10-11 - His purpose will stand, and He will do all that He please. Joshua 23:14 Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.

3. He grants salvation to the righteous – Isaiah 46:12-13 – He warns stubborn-hearted to draw near to His righteousness. Ephesians 1:4-6 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.


If we refrain from being stubborn, His righteousness will become near to us.
I have cast down my idols, I believe that there is none like God.
