"FAITH THAT SAVES"

2 Corinthians 1:8-11


2 Corinthians 1:8 says: For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Living at time is dangerous that could even cost our lives. But God gave us the faith that we can hold on even in the toughest times:

1. Faith through trust – 2 Corinthians 1:9 – in God and not on ourselves. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

2. Faith through hope – 2 Corinthians 1:10 – that God will still deliver us as ever. 1 Thessalonians 1:3 remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father.

3. Faith through prayer –2 Corinthians 1:11 – the power of prayer works even in times of peril. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

With our trust, hope and prayer with God, nothing is impossible.
I will never compromise my faith with God because it saves me.
