"GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE"
by: Rev. Oliver Castro Mutuc
Colossians 3:12-17Col. 3:12 says: Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. We the chosen ones should possess these above-mentioned characteristics by doing the following:
1. Forgive one another – Col. 3:13 - Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
2. Over all these virtues put on love – Col. 3:14 – this will bind us in perfect unity. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
3. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts –Col. 3:15 – always give peace a chance in everything. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
4. Admonish one another with all wisdom –Col. 3:16 - the message of Christ dwell among us richly. Romans 15:14 And concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able also to admonish one another.
In all these, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
I will always in unison to other breth
ren in doing good things for the Lord.
ren in doing good things for the Lord.
