"GOD’S AROMA"

 2 Corinthians 2:14-17


2 Corinthians 2:14 says: But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. We, the called and selected people portray a big role to spread the aroma of knowledge. Because, this aroma is:

1. Pleasing to those who are saved and not – 2 Corinthians 2:15 - 1 Peter 2:5 You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

2. It brings life and death – 2 Corinthians 2:16 - Ezekiel 20:41 As a soothing aroma I will accept you when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered; and I will prove Myself holy among you in the sight of the nations.

3. It promotes sincerity – 2 Corinthians 2:17 - Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Genesis 8:21 And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma. Then the LORD said in His heart, 'I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

To be included in Christ’s triumphal procession, I will always abide by His will.
