" MY GOD, MY LOVE"

Song of Solomon 2:14-17

Songs of Solomon 2:14 says: My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.

God loves us so much and there is no reason for not reciprocating that love to us.

1. He protects us from anything that will harm us – Song of Solomon 2:15 He is our shield and protection from the fiery darts of the enemies. Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

2. We are His and He is ours – Song of Solomon 2:16 whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. Isaiah 43:1 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!”


3. He longs for our turning back to Him – Song of Solomon 2:17 He does not want us to suffer in darkness any longer. Matthew 23:37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases and they are new every morning.
God loves me so much and I will always love Him.
