TO BE OR NOT TO BE
By Rev. Oliver Castro Mutuc
Esther 4:14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Life in this world is full of surprises. Actions are better than words so they say. But before you decide to act on something, these are the factors to be considered:
1. If we remain completely silent - there are times we fail because of our reluctance. We tend to be self-centered and afraid to take the risk or we are lazy to render such a task. Unmindful of the circumstances that would happen should we fail to act on a certain matter. Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
2. Relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish – someone will do the task for and you will lose the opportunity and you will face the consequences of your failures. 1 Samuel 12:22 For the Lord will not forsake his people, for his great name's sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself.
3. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” We should always assume that God has a plan for any situation in which we find ourselves, but there will be specific challenges in our lives where the fact will be obvious, but fear will also be a factor. Walk with God and abide Christ, so that when your moment comes, you will be found faithful. Ephesians 5:15-17 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
God is God whether we exist or not, that is why we must make the most of it in any opportunity.
I will always follow the leading of God before me anytime.
