THINGS THAT DEFILE A MAN

Matthew 15:1-11, 16-20

Matthew 15:18 says: But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.

The true sin is taking God for granted. When we are unmindful of Him this will lead us in committing the following:

1. Vain worship – Matthew 15:9 – giving false doctrines and creating deceptions. Isaiah 29:13 And the Lord said: “Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men.

2. Evil thoughts –Matthew 15:18-19 – bad things resulting from evil ideas. Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Frequent communication with God does wonders and keeping us away from committing sin.
I love talking with God and I will do it always.
