CHOOSING THE RIGHT PATH.

Hebrews 12:18-24

Hebrews 12:22 says: But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels.

Because of the free will that God has placed upon us, we always have the right to choose. But whenever you choose, there must guidance from God by way of prayer and reading His words. If you chose the wrong one then failure will be the result. But when you chose the right one then these will follow:

1. God will prepare us to be His bride -Hebrews 12:22 - our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 3:12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

2. We rejoice that our names are written in heaven – Hebrews 12:23 – for if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Isaiah 4:3 It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem.

3. Our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water – Hebrews 12:24 - so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch us. Hebrews 9:15 Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

By choosing the right path, we will have our true citizenship which is the heaven.

I have chosen the right path and I will always make it a point to be there.
