THE RESTORATION
By Rev. Oliver Castro Mutuc
2 Chronicles 33:9-17
2 Chronicles 33:12 Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. All of us are sinners. And because of this, we became so far away from God. Thus, the devil took the opportunity of stealing what was once belongs to us. To bounce back, all we have to do is to implore the Lord in all humility and God will do the following: (2 Chronicles 33:13)
1. God will receive our entreaty – God will be moved by our request to Him. Ezra 8:23 So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.
2. God will hear our petition – God listens intently on every supplication we ask from Him. 1 Chronicles 5:20 And when they prevailed over them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their urgent plea because they trusted in him.
3. God will restore everything – all the devil stolen from us will be returned by God and more. Job 42:10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
If we turned back to God, God will turn our mourning into dancing.
I had repented and was forgiven so now I reap all the favors from the Lord.
