THE GLORY OF GOD
By Rev. Oliver Castro Mutuc
Psalm 19:1 says: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork
. The glory of God is our source of everything. And it is being on the following reasons based on the passage today:
1. The heaven show His handiwork – Psalm 19:1 – there is nothing that God cannot do as the firmament reveals. Romans 1:19-20 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
2. His speech reveals knowledge –Psalm 19:2-4 - There is no speech nor language where His voice is not heard. Psalm 33:6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host.
3. His light is much brighter than the sun – Psalm 19:5-6 - and there is nothing hidden from its heat. Isaiah 4:5 Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy.
The glory of the Lord reveals the power, knowledge and light for us.
I will glorify the Lord until my last breath.
