MY SOUL THIRST FOR GOD

Psalm 42:1-11

Psalm 42:2 says: My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? There are times, when we feel like we were lost in the sight of God. Especially when we kept on sinning. But God, full of grace, He is always there to lift you up. Just do the following:

1. Come to the presence of God –Psalm 42:4 – have fellowship to those who are on fire to ignite your heart. Psalm 55:14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked to the house of God in the throng.

2. Hope in God –Psalm 42:5 – and praise Him for His saving grace. Psalm 37:7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

3. Always remember God –Psalm 42:6-8 – pray unceasingly to God wherever you are. Jonah 2:7 When my life was fainting away, I remembered the Lord, and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple.

With these, your thirst for God will be quenched and be satisfied.
I will always draw near to God to feel His presence in my life.
