Whenever we are weary, whenever we are being attacked, we have a great God that is always ready to help us up. 1. His Mercy will hold us up – Psalm 94:18 – if we stumble and cannot rise up, His helping hand is always available. Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 2. His comforts delight our souls – Psalm 94:19 - In the multitude of our anxieties, His care is always at hand. 2 Corinthians 1:4-5 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

As we crave for the word of God, we have known that the Lord is gracious that is why we are aiming to be like Him. We are now considered as living stones and will have the following: 1. We are being built up to be a holy priesthood – 1 Peter 2:5 – so that we can offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:20-22 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. It looks attractive, sweet and beautiful but in the end is bitter and awful. If we succumb to it, our spiritual life will ruin. This is what we should do to avoid spiritual adultery: 1. Seek wisdom and discernment from God – Proverbs 5: 1-2 to be able to discover the traps of the devil. Proverbs 22:17 Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my knowledge. 2.
