THE WORD WAS GOD

John 1:1-14

John 1:1 says: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the

Father, full of grace and truth. He is God and He is the following:

1. Life – John 1:4 – an abundant and meaningful life. John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.

2. Light – John 1:5-9 – gives light to every man coming into the world. John 12:46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.

3. Love –John 1:10-14 – no matter how many times we reject Him, He is still our loving God. 1 John 4:16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Jesus is my Lord and savior, I will abide in Him always.
