MY FATHER’S BUSINESS

Luke 2:42-52


Luke 2:49 says: And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

The Father’s business is about us and other people. We were being taught by God to be able to teach others. To fulfill this we have to increase in the following: (Luke 2:52)

1. Wisdom - Luke 2:47 – be always teachable and humble enough to learn. James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.

2. Stature –Luke 2:51 – no matter how far you had accomplished, obedience to God must be one of your great asset. 2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

3. Favor with God and men –Luke 2:52– to be able to please God and men. 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God.

Being well-equipped with wisdom, stature and favor with God is an essential requirement to do the Father’s business.
I am being used by God that is why I need to learn more from Him.
