GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY

 Luke 2:8-20

Luke 2:10 says: Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. The gospel is all about the birth, passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. To feel the great joy the following is to be done:

1. Praising God with the aid of His angels- Luke 2:13-14 we should glorify God in the highest level. Psalm 72:19 Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen!
2. Draw near to God – Luke 2:5-18 act at once without hesitation. James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
3. Give honor to God – Luke 2:20 feeling His presence gives you all the reasons magnify God. Psalm 35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
Praising, drawing near to and giving honor to God brings about and fulfilment to our hearts.
I will praise God with my mind, words and action.
