YOU GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO EAT

Matthew 14:13-21
Matthew 14:16 says: But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

The great commission is everybody’s business. Nobody is excluded to fulfill it. Feeding and equipping them with His words is our responsibility as followers of Christ.

1. Go out to look for the great multitudes – Matthew 14:14 – there are lots of them just around the corner for us to share the gospel with. Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

2. Bring them at the feet of Jesus – Matthew 14:18 – tell to them the love and goodness of Christ. Matthew 15:30 And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them.

3. Feed them with God’s words – Matthew 14:20 – mentor and disciple them regularly. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Feeding the great multitudes will glorify God is we will fulfill it.
I am being fed on God’s words and I will do the same to other people.
