PRAISE THE LORD FOR HE CARES FOR US

Genesis 29:31-35



Genesis 29:35 says: And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now I will praise the Lord.” Therefore she called his name Judah. Then she stopped bearing. Everything that has breath praise the Lord.

With all the blessings that we are receiving from day to day there are lot of reasons to praise the Lord. Here are some:

1. The Lord is looking on our afflictions – Genesis 29:32 – our sad conditions will never go unnoticed by the Lord. Exodus 3:7 Then the Lord said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings.

2. The Lord hears our pleadings – Genesis 29:33 – the Lord is patiently listening to our cries and pleas. Deuteronomy 26:7 Then we cried to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression.

3. The Lord is attached to us – Genesis 29:34 - whatever we are going through God is always there for us. John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
I will give thanks to my Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all His wonderful deeds.
