BLAMELESS AND HARMLESS CHILDREN OF GOD

Philippians 2:12-18


Philippians 2:15 says: that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

Being the light bearers we must in all circumstances be blameless and harmless. That is why we have to do the following:

1. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling – Philippians 2:12 – by being obedient to God at all times. Hebrews 4:11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

2. Do all things without complaining and disputing – Philippians 2:14 – serve God and people with passion and love. James 5:9 Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door.

3. Hold fast the word of life – Philippians 2:16 – so that our labor will not be in vain. Galatians 2:2 I went up because of a revelation and set before them (though privately before those who seemed influential) the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles, in order to make sure I was not running or had not run in vain.

By being blameless and harmless, God is glorified and rejoicing.
I will make it a point that my light will shine always.
