FOR THE LORD HAS DONE IT

Isaiah 43:25; 44:21-23


Isaiah 44:23 says: Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth; Break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob.

The Lord has overcome the world so we must rejoice and be glad in it. He has done mighty things for us which includes the following:

1. He blotted out our transgressions – Isaiah 43:25 – and He will not remember them anymore. Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.

2. He will not forget us –Isaiah 43:21 – for He has formed us and we are His slaves. Isaiah 44:1-2 But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen! Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

3. He has redeemed us –Isaiah 43:22 – though how big sins are, He has cleansed them. Jeremiah 33:8 I will cleanse them from all the guilt of their sin against me, and I will forgive all the guilt of their sin and rebellion against me.

Our God deserves all the highest praise for the things He has done for us.
I am redeemed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus and I am forever grateful.
