"WE BELIEVE THEREFORE WE SPEAK"
By: Rev. Oliver Castro Mutuc
Text : 2 Corinthians 4:7-18
2 Cor. 4:13 says: It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak. We had experienced the life changing love of God that is why we testify to everyone. We are His witnesses for all the great things, He had done.
1. We had a lot of sufferings but we were not abandoned – 2 Cor. 4:8-9
This is because of the surpassing power of God. 1 Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you.
2. God will raise us up from the dead – 2 Cor. 4: 14-15
As the grace reaches us, this will cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Psalm 40:2 He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
3. Inwardly we are being renewed day by day – 2 Cor. 4:16-17
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory. Titus 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.
So we fix our eyes on what is unseen because it is eternal.
I am a living testimony of what God has changed in me and I will always share it to others.
