"TO GOD BE THE HONOR AND GLORY FOREVER"

Text : 1 Timothy 1:12-17

1 Tim. 1:17 says: Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. God has done everything for us to the extent of sacrificing our Lord Jesus Christ for our redemption.


1. He gave us strength 1 Tim. 1: 12 – to be trustworthy in any ministry assigned to us. 2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.


2. He has shown us mercy –1 Tim. 1:13 – for our ignorance and unbelief. Titus 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.


3. His grace poured out on us abundantly –1 Tim. 1: 14 - along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.


Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners like us.

Whatever I may do, think or say I must give honor and glory to God.
