THE LORD WILL BLESS YOU

Jeremiah 31:16-26
Jer. 31:23 says: This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “When I bring them back from captivity, the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: The Lord bless you, you prosperous city, you sacred mountain.
The Lord longs for our drawing near to Him. Upon repentance and seeking forgiveness from Him, here are the blessings:
1. Togetherness and belongingness – Jer.31:24 – we will be reunited with other brethren. Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
2. Strength and power – Jer.31:25 – God will nurture us with all the things we need to renew our strength. 1 Peter 5: 10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
3. Rest and serenity – Jer.31:26 – calmness of the heart and peace of mind. Zephaniah 3:17 For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.
God yearns for us and longs to forgive our sins if we seek Him with all our hearts.
I am enjoying the blessings of the Lord from day to day and I will always seek His love to stay this way.
